Uzzi Leads Fullerton to Soccer Championship
Dave Uzzi scored twice and Fullerton College defeated American River, 3-0, in the championship game of the MiraCosta men’s soccer tournament Sunday at MiraCosta College in Oceanside.
Henry Cromton scored Fullerton’s first goal and Uzzi added another as the Hornets led at halftime, 2-0. Fullerton is 4-0-2. American River was the tournament’s defending champion.
