Associated Press
PINE TOP, Ky. —
A school bus turned over and slid down a 60-foot embankment into a creek, injuring at least 23 high school students and the driver, who said the vehicle had steering problems.
Students said horseplay preceded the Thursday accident, the cause of which remained under investigation. Eight people were still hospitalized Friday, including the bus driver. All were reported in fair or good condition, except for one boy who was in serious but stable condition with head injuries.
