Simi Valley 21, Channel Islands 14--Junior Eric Bennett completed 18 of 40 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns and David Romines had four interceptions to lead the host Pioneers (6-2, 4-1) over the Raiders (1-7, 0-5).

Receiver Bryan Kalbfus had three receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Kalbfus caught a seven-yard scoring pass from Bennett to put the Pioneers ahead, 21-7, with 2:30 left.

Aron Wisherd returned the ensuing kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown--his second scoring return in as many games--and the Raiders converted the extra point to make the score, 21-14.
