El Capitan 14, Valhalla 10--The students of El Capitan voted running back Jessic Heise the homecoming king. Heise then thanked them with a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to give the Vaqueros (6-2-1, 3-0) at least a tie for the league title.

Heise’s run capped an 80-yard drive and erased a 10-6 halftime deficit.
