Maurizio Stecca retained his World Boxing Organization featherweight title when British challenger Tim Driscoll did not answer the bell for the 10th round in Campione D’Italia, Italy.
Driscoll, 27, was trailing Stecca on points and bleeding from the nose and from a cut below his left eye when he quit. The victory improved Stecca’s record to 43-1 while Driscoll fell to 16-4.
