Tony Lopez and Loreto Garza, two former world champions, began boxing comebacks with knockouts Friday night at Sacramento.
Lopez, 38-3-1 and the two-time International Boxing Federation junior lightweight champion, made a successful lightweight debut when he knocked out Ditau Molefyane of South Africa at 2:41 of the eighth round.
Garza (29-2-1) stopped Armando Castro of Mexico with a left hook and a right to the midsection at 2:22 of the seventh round.
