Bloodlines: Last week’s Coast Christmas tournament featured three players who have bright futures, if there’s anything to genes.
Newport Harbor had Eric Vallely, son of John Vallely, who played briefly in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets. Long Beach Jordan had Everett Ratleff, nephew of Ed Ratleff, who played for the Houston Rockets.
