Police Identify Man Killed in North Hills
Los Angeles police have identified a man killed in a North Hills shooting early Sunday as Michael A. Downs, 24.
Downs was dead when police arrived at the 8400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.
Police have indications that Downs was arguing with two people before he was shot in the upper body with a handgun, Police Lt. Al Durrer said.
No suspects are in custody, and there is no apparent motive, police said.
