Perhaps it is easier not to think about it.

Crespi High had an abysmal night of shooting from the field, yet made 14 of 15 free throws en route to a 55-45 victory over Chaminade in a Mission League basketball game Wednesday night at Crespi.

Deadly from the free-throw line, the Celts (8-6, 3-1 in league play) made just 19 of 52 shots from the field (36.5%).

Senior forward Randy Coleman recorded team highs in points (13) and rebounds (14) to lead Crespi. Coleman also was five for five from the line. Kirt Johnson scored a team-high 16 points for Chaminade (5-13, 0-5).
