Carlsbad 83, San Pasqual 62--No. 5 Carlsbad (13-6, 7-0) scored the first 12 of third quarter and never looked back. Kiwan Shariff led the way with 18 and Chad Nelson added 16. San Pasqual fell to 7-11, 4-3.

Oceanside 58, Ramona 37--Ramona was held to four and nine points in the second and third quarters, and was five of 21 from three-point range for the night. Joe Salaveia (15) and Carl Mathis (12) led Oceanside (6-11, 2-5). Rusty Hoss and Cody Cunningham combined for 23 points for Ramona (5-10, 1-5).

Escondido 60, San Marcos 55--San Marcos stayed within five points of Escondido for the duration, but couldn’t break the barrier. Damien Cephas led Escondido (2-5, 7-9)) with 23 points. Horac Corey paced San Marcos (4-10, 1-6) with 17 points.

Palomar League

Poway 83, San Dieguito 55--Kyle Milling led Poway (16-5, 5-2) with 27 points. and teammate Brian Nietz added 23. For San Dieguito (9-10, 2-5), David Demian hit four three-pointers and finished with 26 points.

Fallbrook 88, RBV 64--Fallbrook and RBV peaked in the first and third quarters and RBV got hot in the second and the fourth, but the Warriors (13-6, 3-4) third quarter romp, 32-10, made the difference in the end. Chris Miller, Brandon Phillips and Dave Calderon scored in double figures for Fallbrook. Abe Ajlouny’s 17 points led RBV (8-12, 1-6).
