Six Are Tied for Hawaii Lead

WAILEA, Hawaii —
Cindy Rarick and Deb Richard, who battled each other in a sudden-death playoff for last year’s title, were among six players tied for the lead Thursday after two rounds of the women’s Kemper Open.
Rarick, who lost to Richard last year, shot a seven-under-par 65 for a total of six-under 138. Richard had a five-under 67 and 138, along with Michelle Mackall Michelle McGann, Dawn Coe and first-round leader Missie Berteotti.
Sally Little and Dana Lofland were one shot back.
