SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

The South Hills High girls’ basketball team had an outstanding season, finishing with a 25-4 record under Coach Paul Reed after finishing as runner-up to Rancho Alamitos in the arduous Southern Section 3-A Division.

It’s no surprise then that two players from South Hills were selected to The Times 1992 All-San Gabriel Valley All-Star basketball team.

The 10-player team was selected based on ballots received from area coaches, who were asked to nominate their own players and opposing players and to select a coach of the year.
