In other Garden Grove League games:

Kennedy 7, Santiago 0--Lisa Pitt singled, doubled and tripled for the Fighting Irish (8-4, 4-2).

La Quinta 1, Bolsa Grande 0--Teresa Pinkerton pitched a no-hitter for the Aztecs.

Rancho Alamitos 8, Los Amigos 0--Destiny Mollison struck out 17 of the 24 batters she faced and completed her second consecutive no-hitter. Mollison, a right-handed junior, walked one. One batter reached on an error and one on a dropped third strike.

Theresa Agpalsa went three for four, scored a run and drove in another, and Cherish Mollison drove in two runs in the first inning for the Vaqueros (9-6-1, 4-2).

In the Arrowhead League:

Calvary Chapel 9, La Sierra Academy 1--Kim Schroy pitched a no-hitter, striking out 13 for the visiting Eagles (5-6, 2-0).

In the Century League:

Canyon 3, Orange 1--Jennifer Broughton hit a two-run double in the second inning for the Comanches (9-7-1, 1-1). Chris Puccio had three hits and scored the only run for Orange (7-5, 0-2) on a passed ball.

Foothill 16, Santa Ana Valley 0--Leeann Gonzalez pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine for the host Knights (11-4, 2-0). Kelley Green was three for four with four RBIs.

In the Freeway League:

La Habra 1, Fullerton 0--Danielle Ortega (14-2) pitched a two-hit shutout, her 11th of the season, for the visiting Highlanders (14-2, 2-0). Fullerton is 6-7 and 1-1. Ortega struck out eight to increase her season total to 119. Third baseman Cathy Turner was two for three and scored the run in the sixth on a wild pitch by Kathleen Kennedy.

Sunny Hills 5, Buena Park 1--Stacy Thurber went four for four with three stolen bases and scored two runs for the Lancers (5-7, 2-0).

Troy 3, Sonora 1--Stephanie Bloomingdale and Lindsey Westbrook each drove in a run during the Warriors’ two-run sixth inning. Bloomingdale was two for two. Heidi Schmidt pitched a two-hitter to improve to 4-0 for Troy (10-4, 1-1).

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 2, Anaheim 1--Shannon Nelson’s two-out double in the top of the seventh drove in the winning run for the Wildcats (8-2, 2-1).

Western 3, Savanna 1--Brady Scholz doubled and drove in one run for the visiting Pioneers.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Costa Mesa 10, Laguna Beach 5--Naiar Kabua drove in four runs and Heather Moore had three hits for the Mustangs (4-6, 1-1).

Laguna Hills 6, Trabuco Hills 5--Jennifer Arzola had a two-run double and Sauci Hayes a two-run single during the Hawks’ six-run third inning. Winning pitcher Wendy Scofield (2-3) caught a line drive with the tying run on second for the final out for Laguna Hills (6-4, 2-0). Trabuco Hills is 5-5 and 1-1.

In the Sea View League:

Woodbridge 11, Newport Harbor 3--Right-hander Stacy Washington struck out 10 and went three for five for visiting Woodbridge (13-3, 2-0), ranked fourth in the county. Third baseman Deanna Black had three of the Warriors’ 18 hits and drove in three runs.

Saddleback 16, Corona del Mar 6--The Roadrunners scored nine times in the second inning, when the Sea Kings committed four errors.

In the South Coast League:

Irvine 4, Mission Viejo 0--Carly Girton hit a sixth-inning home run with two on for the Vaqueros (7-3, 1-1).
