A Tired Axl: A Guns N’ Roses concert scheduled for Tuesday in Manchester, England, was postponed after lead singer Axl Rose was ordered by a doctor to rest for 36 hours due to physical exhaustion. The show is now planned for Sunday. Rose is expected to be back in action by Saturday for a concert at London’s Wembley Arena. . . . Meanwhile, preliminary estimates on last Saturday’s pay-per-view telecast of a GNR concert in Paris indicated that the show was seen in about 200,000 households (approximately 1% of potential pay-per-view subscribers). That’s about 30% fewer than the record set by the Judds’ farewell concert earlier this year. If the estimates are accurate, the GNR special will show a gross of more than $5 million.
