Chatsworth Hurdler Picks Santa Monica
Michael Johnson of Chatsworth High, who placed third in the 300-meter intermediates hurdles in the City Section championships in May, will attend Santa Monica City College in the fall.
Johnson posted personal bests of 39.47 seconds in the intermediates and 15.51 in the 110 high hurdles this year, his first in track.
The Oxnard Kickers of Club Oxnard United soccer club is scheduled to play the Berlina (Germany) Reinichendorfer Foxes at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oxnard College.

Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda will conduct a baseball clinic Aug. 1 at Moorpark High.
Proceeds will be used to build the Moorpark Athletic Community Complex.
