Texas running back Butch Hadnot, who is fighting for his academic eligibility, has been suspended from the team indefinitely by Longhorn Coach John Mackovic for seeking a transfer to rival Texas A&M.;

Aggie Coach R.C. Slocum has said that Hadnot, the 1990 Southwest Conference newcomer of the year, met with him to discuss switching schools. Slocum then reported the meeting to UT officials.
