Outlook: Brumm prides himself on hardening his team with one of the toughest schedules around, and this season is no different. The Knights’ first three matches are against San Clemente, Corona del Mar and Capistrano Valley, ranked Nos. 3, 7 and 2 in the county, respectively. Last season, Foothill lost three matches to the same teams and struggled the rest of the way, but Brumm believes this team has the experience to gain from the gauntlet. Palluck and Hay, who combined for more than 100 goals last season, will again lead the offense. Weaver heads a strong defense.
