Dave Bollwinkel, who coached Cal Poly Pomona to its first consecutive 15-victory seasons in men’s basketball in 25 years and in 1991 was voted California Collegiate Athletic Assn. coach of the year, resigned to become an assistant coach at Dayton. The Broncos were 58-70 under Bollwinkel.
