Mater Dei Guard to Attend Oregon State

SANTA ANA — David Drakeford, a 6-foot-1 guard at Mater Dei, has made an oral commitment to attend Oregon State, Monarch Coach Gary McKnight said Wednesday.
As a junior, Drakeford averaged 7.3 points to help Mater Dei to a 34-2 record and Southern Section and Southern California Regional championships. He averaged 18 points in summer league play.
