SCORE: Verbum Dei 21, Cantwell 7 SYNOPSIS: Lamont Solomon caught six passes for 99 yards and three touchdowns in a Camino Real League game at Cantwell. SCORE: Crespi (14) 31, St. Bernard 10 SYNOPSIS: Crespi capitalized on four turnovers, scoring 24 consecutive points to overcome a 10-7 second-quarter deficit. SCORE: Bell Gardens 21, El Rancho 8 SYNOPSIS: Quarterback Ricky Oropeza rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown in 17 carries in a nonleague game at El Rancho. SCORE: CC Canyon 24, Alemany 21 SYNOPSIS: Matt George kicked a 25-yard field goal to break a 21-21 tie and the Cowboys stopped Alemany on downs at the Canyon 27-yard line with 29 seconds left. SCORE: Schurr 15, Temple City 14 SYNOPSIS: Dennis Feli caught a two-point conversion pass from Nick Losoya with less than a minute left to lift the visiting Spartans in a nonleague game. SCORE: Montclair Prep 21, Murphy 7 SYNOPSIS: Eliel Swinton rushed for 153 yards in 22 carries to become the Mounties’ career rushing leader in a nonleague game at Valley College. SCORE: Glendale 14, Burbank 0 SYNOPSIS: Christopher Carr scored on a 50-yard interception return and the Dynamiters (5-0) recorded their second shutout in a row in a nonleague game at Burroughs High.

SCORE: Banning 14, San Clemente 7 SYNOPSIS: Mike Henderson had an interception and blocked a punt to set up the winning touchdown--a three-yard run by Damin Hurst with less than four minutes to play. SCORE: Marshall 21, Eagle Rock 12 SYNOPSIS: Aman Abye helped the Barristers (4-1) win their ninth consecutive Northern Conference game as he caught four passes for 66 yards and scored on a 38-yard run. SCORE: Crenshaw (20) 47, Gardena 0 SYNOPSIS: Eric Scott completed eight of 15 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown in the Southern Pacific Conference game. SCORE: Roosevelt 14, Jordan 10 SYNOPSIS: Juan Pimintel caught a 25-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter as the Rough Riders (4-1) overcome a 10-0 deficit in the Southeastern Conference game. SCORE: Fairfax 7, University 0 SYNOPSIS: Tyrone Evans scored on a six-yard run with five minutes left to lead the Lions to their first victory in a Coastal Conference game. SCORE: Verdugo Hills 35, Hollywood 6 SYNOPSIS: Eddie Powell scored three touchdowns, one on a 98-yard punt return, to lead the host Dons to a Northern Conference victory. SCORE: Palisades 33, Los Angeles 0 SYNOPSIS: Ahmad Lewis had touchdown receptions of 35 and 46 yards and also rushed for a touchdown for the Dolphins (2-2) in a Coastal Conference game.
