SCORE: Trabuco Hills 42, Laguna Hills 0 SYNOPSIS: Pat Barnes passed for 243 yards as the Mustangs (6-0) ended a 13-game win streak and avenged a loss in last year’s Division VII championship. SCORE: Muir (5) 41, Glendale 0 SYNOPSIS: Saladin McCullough rushed for five touchdowns for the visiting Mustangs (5-1) in a Pacific League victory over the two-time league champion Dynamiters (5-1). SCORE: Irvine 40, Santa Margarita (20) 34 SYNOPSIS: Scott Seal rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns for the Vaqueros (5-1) in a Sea View League game at Irvine. SCORE: St. Francis 7, Bishop Montgomery 3 SYNOPSIS: Jay Walters scored the game’s only touchdown on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter to lead St. Francis (3-2) in a Mission League game at home. SCORE: Nordhoff 35, Calabasas 16 SYNOPSIS: Adam Blundell rushed six times but scored three touchdowns in the Rangers’ (5-1) Frontier League victory at Calabasas. SCORE: Oak Park 17, Fillmore 14 SYNOPSIS: Running back Tarik Smith gained 66 yards in 13 carries, including the go-ahead touchdown, a 22-yard run, in a Tri-Valley League game at Fillmore. SCORE: Chaminade 28, St. Bernard 17 SYNOPSIS: Franklin Saunders returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown with 7:54 remaining after host St. Bernard had closed to within 21-17 in the Mission League game. SCORE: Charter Oak 54, HH Wilson 0 SYNOPSIS: Running back Mike Harris carried 19 times for 238 yards and three touchdowns for the Chargers (6-0) in a Miramonte League game at home. SCORE: Kern Valley 7, Silver Valley 6 SYNOPSIS: Linebacker Justin Lipke deflected Chip Jones’ pass on a two-point conversion attempt to preserve the Desert League victory for the visiting Broncs (4-2). SCORE: SO Notre Dame 28, Harvard-Westlake 0 SYNOPSIS: Quarterback Jabbar Craigwell scored three touchdowns, passed for 95 yards and rushed for 57, for the visiting Knights (3-3) in a Mission League game.

CITY SECTION SCORE: San Pedro 22, Banning 21 SYNOPSIS: The Pirates (4-1) defeated Banning (3-3) for the first time in 24 seasons, rallying from a 21-8 fourth-quarter deficit in the Southern Pacific Conference game. SCORE: Dorsey 28, Washington 18 SYNOPSIS: The Dons (2-1-1) raced to a 14-0 first-quarter lead and never trailed in the Southern Pacific Conference game at Washington. SCORE: Grant 10, Poly 6 SYNOPSIS: The host Lancers were the beneficiaries of five Poly fumbles and Roy Rodriquez rushed for 128 yards to lead Grant (1-4-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game. SCORE: Bell 27, Locke 12 SYNOPSIS: The Eagles (5-1) scored 27 consecutive points to overcome a 12-0 first-quarter deficit in the Southeastern Conference victory at Locke. SCORE: Venice 31, Fairfax 6 SYNOPSIS: DeAntwin Young rushed for 154 yards and broke a 7-7 tie on a 58-yard run in the third quarter to pace the host Gondoliers (3-2) to a Coastal Conference victory. SCORE: Belmont 35, Verdugo Hills 7 SYNOPSIS: Ben Martinez rushed for 128 yards in 12 carries, scoring on runs of 49 and 13 yards, to pace the host Sentinels (5-1) to a Northern Conference victory. SCORE: Narbonne 7, Jordan 0 SYNOPSIS: C.J. Williams scored on a one-yard plunge in the second quarter to lift the Gauchos (1-5) to a nonleague victory at Narbonne. SCORE: Lincoln 24, Eagle Rock 8 SYNOPSIS: Marcelo Ortega caught three touchdown passes from Gerardo Roman as the Tigers (6-0) overcame a 7-0 halftime deficit in a Northern Conference game at home. SCORE: Palisades 40, University 0 SYNOPSIS: Chris Kasteler completed 10 of 13 passes for 187 yards and Ahmad Lewis scored three touchdowns for the host Dolphins (3-2) in a Coastal Conference game.
