Loyola Women Defeat St. Mary’s in Volleyball
The Loyola Marymount women’s volleyball team defeated St. Mary’s, 15-12, 15-4, 15-5, in a West Coast Conference match Saturday night at Gersten Pavilion.
The Lions (13-7, 5-0 in league play) were led by Dana Bragado, who had 17 kills, and Amy Moeller, who had 16 kills and 18 digs.
Loyola will play host to Providence on Thursday and Pepperdine on Saturday.
Cal State Dominguez Hills 2, Cal State San Bernardino 0--Jill Henderson and Amy Rubin scored goals to help the host Lady Toros win their second consecutive California Collegiate Athletic Assn. soccer title.
Dominguez Hills (13-2, 5-0) travels to UC Irvine for a match at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
