LOS ANGELES : Boy, 10, Dies After Being Struck by Hit-Run Driver
A 10-year-old Los Angeles boy who was struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bicycle earlier this week died Friday at County-USC Medical Center, authorities said.
A hospital spokesman said Walter Lee Hunter had been in critical condition, with massive head injuries after being hit by a car Wednesday night near 24th Street and Raymond Avenue in the Mid-City district.
Los Angeles police said the youngster was hit by a speeding dark blue, older-model Cadillac. Investigators asked that anyone with information about the accident call (213) 485-7336.
