Wilson 13, Verdugo Hills 6--Ralph Nunez rushed for 135 yards in 22 carries and did all of the Wilson scoring--including a 99-yard kickoff return to start the second half--in a Northern Conference game.
Verdugo Hills quarterback David Bryant rushed for 81 yards in 14 attempts and scored on a 13-yard option to tie the score in the third quarter. Nunez broke the tie with a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
