SOUTHLAND ROUNDUP : Redlands Defeats La Verne, 20-13

Sean Cheatham and quarterback Mark Harmon ran for a touchdown apiece to lead Redlands to a 20-13 victory over La Verne before 1,300 at La Verne.

Redlands, 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, is the only unbeaten team in league play and could be on its way to a third consecutive championship.

Cheatham finished with 191 yards in 35 carries and Harmon completed seven of 20 passes for 104 yards. La Verne is 4-1-1 and 2-1.
