Tim Carey of Los Alamitos High, the state’s most heavily recruited quarterback, announced he will attend Stanford next fall. Carey, 6 feet 4, 175 pounds, chose Stanford over USC, Cal, Colorado and Washington State. A transfer from Santa Ana Mater Dei, he has thrown for 2,472 yards and 26 touchdowns this season to lead Los Alamitos to a 10-0 record.
