PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Unranked Santa Margarita Ties Fifth-Ranked Mater Dei

Katie Ward scored for Mater Dei, the fifth-ranked team in Orange County, and Beth Brown scored for unranked Santa Margarita as the teams played to a 1-1 tie in a girls’ soccer match Monday at Santa Margarita.

Mater Dei is 2-3-1 and Santa Margarita is 2-1-2.

Capistrano Valley 0, Orange 0--Sumon Nicole had eight saves for 10th-ranked Capistrano Valley (4-0-1). Rebecca Comstock had 10 saves for unranked Orange (1-1-2).
