CC Irvine Rolls Past Occidental

Christ College Irvine held Occidental to 16% shooting from the field, and Gitte Mejer and Talia Crooks each scored 12 points to lead the Eagles to a 65-33 nonconference women’s basketball victory Monday at CCI.

Stacy Kirch added 10 points and 11 assists, and Genevieve Graff had nine points, 13 rebounds and seven steals for CCI (7-2), which led, 36-12, at halftime.
