BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : TUESDAY’S GAMES
Manual Arts 100, Dorsey 58--Manual Arts took advantage of an undermanned Dorsey squad and won the third-place consolation of the L.A. Officials tournament at Washington High.
David Rickenbacker scored 24 points, John Thompson added 21 for Manual Arts, which heads to Las Vegas for the Holiday Prep tournament.
The Dons’ starting lineup played in the Artesia tournament Tuesday and Coach Kevin Gibson stayed behind and did his best with only five players suited up against the Toilers.
Records: Manual Arts 7-3; Dorsey 6-4.
