Rogers Gets 200th Coaching Victory for Titans

Led by Celeste Delia, who won four of five possible events, Cal State Fullerton beat Stanford, 191.75-186.30, Friday night at Titan Gym to give Lynn Rogers his 200th regular-season gymnastics coaching victory at the school.

Delia won the all-around, vault, uneven bars and floor exercise to lead the upset of the Cardinal, ranked 12th nationally, in the season opener for both teams. Delia also set school records for the floor exercise (9.85 points) and all-around (38.95).

Cristi Clifford completed the sweep by winning the balance beam.

Rogers is starting his 18th year of coaching Fullerton gymnastics.
