The Bruins’ center scored 46 points in two Moore League games. Patterson was held to 15 points and three rebounds in a 51-46 loss to league rival Millikan, but she erupted for 31 points and 24 rebounds in a 65-53 victory over Jordan.

Angelina Baca led Glenn High to a pair of Suburban League basketball victories. She had 20 points and nine steals in a 53-52 win over Bellflower, and followed with 13 points as Glenn beat Mayfair, 40-37.

Shannon Gale, a Gahr High basketball player, scored 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 76-40 rout of San Gabriel Valley League opponent Paramount. She had a 15-point, nine-rebound performance against Downey as Gahr won, 64-35.
