The boys’ high school basketball game between Lynwood and Compton Dominguez, called off in the fourth quarter last Friday when violence erupted in the stands at Dominguez, will be played out later this week.

Principals and athletic directors of the San Gabriel Valley League voted unanimously Tuesday to allow the teams to resume action from the point the game was stopped with 4 minutes 50 seconds remaining and Lynwood ahead, 65-64. The game will be played at Dominguez at 3 p.m. at a date still to be determined. No spectators will be allowed.

The NCAA placed the athletics program at Tennessee’s University of the South--also known as Sewanee--on two years’ probation for giving improper benefits to students, including $4,000 to a basketball player.
