Fullerton 65, Pomona 63--Center Chad Murray scored 28 points for visiting Fullerton. The Indians (17-9) advanced to the quarterfinals Tuesday where they will meet third-seeded South Torrance (24-2) at an alternate site to be determined today.
South Torrance 51, Western 37--Kyle McIntosh had 20 points for South Torrance (24-2). Frank Floyd had 11 points for Western, which finished 16-9.

Boys’ basketball--A story in Saturday’s Times gave an incorrect score and winner from a Southern Section Division III-AA boys’ basketball game Friday night. Pomona beat Fullerton, 68-63.
In Division III-A games:
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 91, Pacifica 53--Pacifica made only two of 10 shots from the field in the first quarter and 14 of 49 in the game and lost its first-round game at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
The Mariners (13-10) were led by junior guard Chris Vlasic, who scored 23 points, including four of six shooting from beyond the three-point arc.
Notre Dame (21-6), the second-place finisher in the Mission League, was led by Indiana-bound swingman Monte Marcaccini, who scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
“We were outmanned,” Pacifica Coach Dave Brodt said. “Their players were great.”
