Notes: The Sea View League, with four of the county’s top six teams, should be one of the strongest in the state, perhaps the country. Santa Margarita, newcomer to the Sea View, might have the seventh best team in the county but only the fifth best in its league . . . Lindee, who owns a record of 167-1, has been named the Empire’s League MVP three-times . . . Lin, who will play his college tennis at UCLA, won the National 18s Indoors doubles title last year and should give Abrams a run for the section singles title . . . Zajfen is 60-0 in dual matches over the last two seasons . . . Daniel Roditi, who along with Jeff Marsden won the 1992 section doubles championship at San Clemente High, has moved to Sacramento . . . Abrams could become the first freshman win the section singles title since Jonathon Leach of Laguna Beach did it in 1988. Leach, who plays at USC, reached the finals in 1989 but never won a second title. . . Brent Hanson-Dent, who won the section singles title in 1990 while at Newport Harbor, has left UC Irvine for the pro tour after two years . . . Santa Barbara has won the last five 4-A (now Division I) section titles and seven of the last eight. Peninsula, which lost to Santa Barbara in last year’s finals, is favored to unseat Santa Barbara this year.
