Cypress 9, Fullerton 6--Ryan Hamilton and Greg Tippin had RBI singles in the top of the ninth to break open a one-run game for visiting Cypress. Tippin also hit a two-run home run to highlight a five-run fourth for the Chargers (11-3, 1-0).

Mark Rushlow had three hits for the Hornets (7-5, 0-1).

Cypress 13, Citrus 0 (5, mercy rule)--Carrie Reynolds pitched a no-hitter and Susan Dugas had a double for Cypress (9-2) in a first-round victory. In a second-round game, College of the Canyons defeated Cypress, 2-0, by scoring two runs in the tiebreaker.
