In Newport Elks tournament consolation games:

Saddleback 2, Santa Ana Valley 1--Gerardo Ortiz drove in two runs with a double with two outs in the top of the seventh for Saddleback (2-3). Ortiz was three for three.

Trabuco Hills 8, Corona del Mar 1--Brad Cervantes hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning for Trabuco Hills (2-1). Joe Marlow had a three-run single in the fifth to break the game open for the Mustangs.

Foothill 11, Mission Viejo 8--David Trentine had three hits, including two doubles and two RBIs, to lead Foothill (2-1).

Estancia 2, El Modena 1--Luke Palmer hit a single to left, scoring teammate Scott Usher for the go-ahead run for Estancia (2-1). Jairo Areyut struck out seven and walked three, going the distance for the Eagles. El Modena is 1-2.

Orange 5, Newport Harbor 2--Aaron Sepulveda had two hits and two RBIs and Dean Schmaus (1-0) allowed six hits in the complete-game victory.

In the El Segundo tournament:

Edison 4, Paramount 1--Steve Blanchard hit two home runs and Jamie Surdock scattered two hits in five innings for Edison (3-1).

Westminster 9, Brea-Olinda 1--Matt Murphy had a no-hitter until Brea’s Dan Anderson doubled with two out in the fifth inning. Murphy (2-0) allowed three hits in six innings for Westminster (3-1). Ray Delaserna had two hits and three RBIs for Westminster.

In the Duarte tournament:

Rancho Alamitos 7, Monterey Park Salesian 3--Tony Luce went two for three and had three RBIs for visiting Rancho Alamitos (3-0). Jerry Huizar went two for two with an RBI. Erin Winemiller (1-0) was the winning pitcher for the Vaqueros.

Canyon 5, Rialto Eisenhower 2--James Jekums hit a three-rum homer for Canyon (3-0), which will meet host Glendora Saturday at 6 p.m. in the title game.
