Pepperdine, N. Arizona Land O.C. Athletes

Fountain Valley volleyball player Lisa Brown has signed a letter of intent with Northern Arizona, and San Clemente water polo player Tom Hornig has committed to Pepperdine.

Brown, 6-foot middle blocker, chose Northern Arizona over San Jose State, Boise State, George Washington and Tennessee.

She was a three-time all-Sunset League pick and a two-time all-Southern Section selection.

She plans to study art and psychology.

Hornig, a four-year starter at driver, was a two-time second-team All-Southern Section selection and first-team All-South Coast League pick last season.
