Los Alamitos 7, Loara 2--J.K. Thompson pitched a four-hitter for host Los Alamitos, which had three hits but was helped by eight errors.

El Dorado 4, Cypress 2--Ryan Reyes had an two-out single in the sixth to give visiting El Dorado a 4-1 lead. Cypress is 6-5, 2-3.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Estancia 9, Laguna Beach 2--Senior right-hander Victor Martinez pitched a three-hitter and was supported by home runs by Art Martinez and twin brothers Pedro and Jairo Arceyut for Estancia (7-2, 3-1).

Trabuco Hills 17, Costa Mesa 4--Mike Beyersdoerfer had three hits and three RBIs, John Lukin had two hits and two RBIs and Ray Keener had two hits for host Trabuco Hills (5-2-1, 2-1-1).

In the Sea View League:

University 14, Saddleback 4--Steve Hagins scored five times and Riley Breckenridge went two for four with three RBIs for University (8-3-1, 2-1-1).

Woodbridge 17, Newport Harbor 5--Paul Horning was three for three, scored three runs and had two RBIs for visiting Woodbridge.

Santa Margarita 8, Irvine 3--Brad Rumpf had two RBIs for Santa Margarita (5-4-2, 3-0-1), which pounded out 11 hits.

Tustin 7, Corona del Mar 3--Ronnie Hall hit a grand slam in the fourth inning to put host Tustin ahead for good.

In the South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 2, Capistrano Valley 0--Todd Sands hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh for Mission Viejo (4-6, 1-4). Jeff Carr led off the inning with a single and Sands followed with his fourth homer of the season. Sophomore Jason Sprain held Capistrano Valley (7-3, 3-2) to five hits.

Dana Hills 4, El Toro 3--Joe Wolter capped a four-run fourth for host Dana Hills (7-5, 2-3) with his first home run. El Toro is 6-6, 2-3.

Mater Dei 4, San Clemente 2--Andy Castro pitched a one-hitter, but the No. 1-ranked Monarchs still had to rally to win. He had a no-hitter for 4 1/3 before Mike Chance lined a double that hit the right-field foul line.
