Saddleback College Fourth at State Golf Championships
Jason McDaniel and Jason Reeder each shot 15-over 158s to help Saddleback College finish fourth in the 36-hole State Golf Championships, which finished Monday at the Monterey Peninsula Dunes Course.
College of the Canyons won the team title, shooting a 792 to edge College of the Desert by a stroke. Monterey Peninsula finished third at 800 and Saddleback had 807.
Mike McCume of Los Angeles Mission was the individual champion with a eight-over 151.
Saddleback’s best round came from Reeder, who shot a first-round 74.
