In the Big West Conference softball:
Cal State Fullerton 2-8, UC Santa Barbara 0-2--Rose Garces hit a two-run home run in the first game and added three hits, scored two runs, and drove in one in the second game for host Fullerton (35-19, 23-7). Shannon Dolan had three hits including a home run in the second game for the Titans.
In the NAIA District 3 baseball playoffs at Azusa Pacific:
Point Loma Nazarene 14, Southern California College 2 (7 innings, 10-run rule)--Point Loma Nazarene pounded out 15 hits, knocking out SCC starter Ryan Meredith in the first.
