A resurgence of rockers in their late 40s and early 50s is under way, spearheaded by the successes of Tina Turner and Rod Stewart. Turner’s music from “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” the movie about her relationship with Ike Turner, is No. 16 on the Times Southern California pop album chart and No. 8 on the R&B; chart. Stewart’s “Unplugged and Seated,” essentially a live greatest hits album, is still No. 2 on the pop chart. The album has received a strong boost from his emotional single, “Have I Told You Lately,” which is No. 6.
