PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Hobert Recalls One That Got Away

Raider rookie quarterback Billy Joe Hobert got his first significant playing time Friday night, but it wasn’t a pleasant time for the third-round draft choice.
Hobert relieved Todd Marinovich in the middle of the third period and went the rest of the way in Friday night’s 18-7 loss to the Colts in Indianapolis.
Hobert completed six of 10 passes for 93 yards, but, afterward, he talked of a pass that was picked off by Michael Ball.
“I hurried myself so much on that play that I deserved the interception,” Hobert said.
