OUTLOOK

The Saxons will be better. How much better remains to be seen. They do have Dawson, who was named the league’s back of the year in 1992. He gained 950 yards rushing and caught 12 passes for 171 yards. For the Saxons to challenge for a playoff spot, Dawson is going to need some help. Talley is a solid receiver, but the Saxons aren’t sure who will get the ball to him, as the quarterback spot is up in the air.
