Cleveland 7, Poly 0--Junior running back Russel Burwell scored on a 50-yard run early in the fourth quarter and led all rushers with 103 yards in 19 carries to lead host Cleveland in a game marred by 10 turnovers, including eight by Poly.
The game also included three touchdowns that were nullified by penalties.
Burwell had apparent touchdown runs of 21 and 47 yards called back, and a 58-yard punt return by Poly’s Keijun Douglas also was nullified.
Cleveland linebacker John Sanchez recovered two fumbles and intercepted a pass, and fellow linebacker Brandon Woodland recovered two fumbles.
