PREP ROUNDUP : Brea Edges Glendora

Rachel Buenviaje swept at No. 1 singles as Brea-Olinda defeated Glendora in a nonleague girls’ tennis match Monday at Glendora.
Buenviaje won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, as Brea-Olinda won on games, 72-69, after the match ended in a 9-9 tie. Brea is 4-2 and Glendora is 2-2.
In other nonleague girls’ tennis:
Orange Lutheran 15, San Bernardino Aquinas 3--Elizabeth Larson and Kim Newell each swept in singles for visiting Orange Lutheran (2-2).
University 12, Laguna Hills 6--Maujula Weirasuriya and Ryoko Tykano swept in doubles, 6-0, 7-5, 6-0, for University.
Valencia 14, Troy 4--Valencia won all nine singles sets, losing only one game, to improve to 4-0.
In nonleague water polo:
Western 20, Santa Ana 5--Bryon Vern and Chris Cummings each scored four goals for Western. James Young had seven saves in the victory.
In nonleague girls’ volleyball:
Laguna Hills 3, Santa Ana 0--Amy Steele had 13 kills for host Laguna Hills in a 15-1, 15-0, 15-3 sweep. Laguna Hills is 3-1.
Liberty Christian 3, La Verne Lutheran 0--Lynlee Vaccaro and Christy Curtl had seven kills each for host Liberty Christian in a 15-8, 15-6, 15-0 sweep. Liberty Christian is 4-0.
