Shawna Parkinson had 19 kills as Chapman beat La Verne in a nonconference women’s volleyball match Tuesday at Chapman.
The Panthers won 15-12, 15-12, 15-12, in their first home match of the season.
In Big West Conference women’s volleyball:
Hawaii 3, Cal State Fullerton 0--Cal State Fullerton (0-12) lost for the 39th time in 40 matches over two seasons as Hawaii won, 15-3, 15-2, 15-2.
