SEASON AT A GLANCE: The latest in a long string of gifted quarterbacks at Hart, Kocicka has established himself. With two regular-season games left, the senior transfer who hardly played last season at Crescenta Valley has passed for 1,917 yards and 20 touchdowns while throwing only seven interceptions. He has completed 60% of 176 passes while triggering the Indians’ run-and-shoot offense. He also has scored six rushing touchdowns.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: In leading Hart (7-1, 2-0 in Foothill League play) to a 41-0 victory over Burroughs last week, Kocicka completed 18 of 24 passes for 330 yards and five touchdowns, with one interception. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder connected on scoring pass plays of 46, 17, 18, 42 and 10 yards, including two to Ted Iacenda, who had eight receptions for 158 yards and scored on a four-yard run.
