Four Orange County teams earned berths in the Southern Section eight-man football playoffs, which begin Friday.

St. Margaret’s (9-0), the No. 1 team from the Academy League and the No. 3-seeded team in the large-school division, received a first-round bye. The Tartans, who are averaging 44 points, will play host to Palos Verdes Chadwick (8-1), the Prep League’s No. 1 team, in the second round, scheduled for Nov. 19-20.
