In other Division I first-round matches:

Corona del Mar 3, Long Beach St. Anthony 0--Jennifer Stroffe had 14 kills and Kim Coleman added 13 to lead Corona del Mar (20-2) over host St. Anthony’s, 15-2, 15-1, 15-3.

Dana Hills 3, Los Angeles Marlborough 1--Dana Hills (14-1) saw its 20-game winning streak snapped, but regrouped in time to post a four-game victory over visiting Los Angeles Marlborough, 7-15, 15-7, 15-12, 15-3. Jeanne Vetter led the Dolphins with 23 kills and setter Ursula Luna had 68 assists and 12 aces.

Newport Harbor 3, Redondo Beach 0--Top-seeded Newport Harbor (17-0) won, 15-3, 15-6, 15-13. Sarah Fairborn led the Sailors with 11 kills and Julie Hecker had five kills and five aces.

In Division II girls’ volleyball:

Esperanza 3, Fullerton 1--Lynette Anderson had 20 kills for the Aztecs, who won 15-6, 15-10, 12-15, 15-10. Esperanza (12-3) will play Edison Saturday.

Fountain Valley 3, Katella 0--Junior Kristen Moro had 13 kills and teammate Gina Ybarra added 12 to lead Fountain Valley, 15-7, 15-6, 15-6.

Long Beach Millikan 3, Marina 1--Marcy Crouch had 26 kills and Jessica Lyon had 51 assists for Marina, which was defeated, 15-9, 19-17, 15-4, 4-15, 15-4. Marina finishes 9-8.

Los Alamitos 3, Orange 0--Katie Pearce had 37 assists, Stacy Laitsch 15 kills and Maria Bowden 14 kills as Los Alamitos (14-1) won 15-0, 15-4, 15-10. Los Alamitos will play La Habra Saturday.

In Division III:

Kennedy 3, Chino Hills Ayala 0--Krista Dowland had 11 kills to lead Kennedy (16-1), 16-14, 15-11, 15-3.

Torrance 3, La Quinta 0--The visiting Aztecs lost to the top-seeded Tartars, 15-3, 17-15, 15-7. La Quinta finished 12-6.

In Division IV:

Valencia 3, Temecula Valley 0--Michelle Shear had 11 kills as the Tigers won, 15-11, 15-4, 15-13.

In Division V:

Capistrano Valley Christian 3, Baldwin Park Sierra Vista 2--Katie Wilson had 17 kills and Rachel Pearson added 14 for visiting Capistrano Valley Christian, which rallied for a 15-7, 14-16, 7-15, 15-3, 15-12 victory.

Calvary Chapel 3, San Gabriel Mission 0--Kati French had 35 assists and Courtney Owens had 14 kills for second-seeded Calvary Chapel, which won, 15-7, 15-2, 15-4.

In Division VI:

St. Margaret’s 3, Ojai Thatcher 0--Monica Girard had 12 kills and Emily Hallenbeck had 11 as the Tartans won 15-4, 15-10, 15-11.
