NORTHRIDGE — Grant Hohman, an infielder from Harbor College, said Saturday he has accepted a baseball scholarship from Cal State Northridge.
Hohman said he chose Northridge over Oklahoma and UC Santa Barbara because the Matadors “have a winning program and I like their style of play.”
For Harbor, Hohman has played every infield position except first base. He said Northridge Coach Bill Kernen told him he probably would play middle infield for the Matadors.
Hohman was a three-time All-Mission League selection as a shortstop for St. Bernard High. He batted .360 last season for Harbor.
